Prego is an independent Italian restaurant located on the High Street in Buckingham.
Founded in 2003, Prego is open 7 days a week from 11.30am till late. We offer a large and diverse Italian themed menu including pizza, calzone, pasta, risotto, salads and chicken dishes. Many of our dishes are renowned locally including our homemade Tiramisu and we have a wide ranging drinks menu including a fantastic selection of wines, gins and cocktails.
We can cater to all allergy requirements and have an excellent gluten free menu.

Food was delicious, great choice and their gluten free menu is excellent. A brilliant place if you are Coeliac. The staff are friendly and efficient. Children are made to feel really welcome. Our 6 year old granddaughter loves going. Highly recommend this lovely place.
I’ve been here twice in one week and had amazing experiences both times. The staff are very lovely and the food was wonderful. The menu all looks delicious and the atmosphere is really sweet. Will definitely be going again, really recommend to anyone.
Popped in for a quick lunch and we both had the Pumpkin Gnocchi in a nduja and gorgonzola sauce from the specials board. It was excellent.
Visited late lunch. Food was amazing and staff very attentive and friendly. Only reason for 3 rating on food is the menu choices being a little limited across the food groups. Pasta and pizza while lovely dont reflect italy as this place clearly can for what they do offer. More meat fish side and sauce choices would make prego a stunning foodie staple. Otherwise great place to visit and reasonably priced.
We were at silverstone for the day and decided to stay over and have some food. I had looked at the comments from previous diners and thought we would give it a go as it seemed very highly rated. I will begin that I am Italian and this food has nothing to do with a normal Italian restaurant. The calmarmi were deep fried and were of very poor quality. They wasn’t fresh and not to sure where they got them from but were awful. If you check the pictures and you have had fresh calmarmi you will know what I mean. The pizza wasn’t at all made with fresh dough as it was a perfect round shape so this also was a pre-made base and the toppings were no better. No fresh mozzarella or anything else to be fair. Again check the foto’s I put the pizza upright and nothing came off it. It was all stuck together and I’ve personally had better frozen Gino pizzas than that. I thought it was also expensive for the quality they gave . Not Italian owned and it shows Very poor and wouldn’t recommend 👎🏻
