Been a few times when travelling on the A483 for a meal or snack. Very welcoming, good service and food. Will be missed if this place closes as it is currently up for sale
I like this pub. Down to earth, in good location if your walking canal. A menu that I find hard to choose from as I like a lot of dishes. Landlord knowledgeable on area. OK its nothing fancy inside but functional. Good food portions, probably too much to be fair. My only disappointment is the rice. 😩Reheated and sticks together, but otherwise a great curry or chilli. But I keep going back as has extensive menu.😋
Lovely quirky pub, great welcome, lovely cold beer and good selection. Fab food, extensive and varied choice and well cooked. Clean tidy ensuite rooms with good amenities. Would recommend
Stopped here while kayaking the Severn. The biggest portion of chips I've ever seen! Talk about value for money!! The owners were so kind and even refilled our water bottles for us! Thank you!!
Make sure you wear your loose fitting trouser if you're eating here. Huge healthy portions. Landlord was super friendly and kept a very good pint too. Kids had fun too and felt safe and welcomed
