About us

Traditional family-friendly community pub with a large lounge, real fires, no sports TV, and no fruit machines. Traditional pub games and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

The pub has six hand-pumps in total, with four ever-changing guest beers. Unusual beers from micro-breweries are often available plus real cider.

Possibly the largest beer garden in Preston. Live music often on Fridays and weekends.

Recently refurbished throughout and situated on a prominent corner site of Preston, the Plungington Hotel is a busy local pub with an established team sports reputation. Located on a main road, opposite local commercial premises and in a densely populated residential area, the pub benefits from passing trade and local residents. The local demographics feature a high proportion of traditional community pub goers and present an excellent opportunity for the right operator to build a loyal customer base.

Externally, this large site, has good kerb appeal due to the new lighting and signage scheme. There is some off street parking to the front of the pub along with ample on-street parking nearby.

We are looking for an experienced operator with a background in providing a good quality food offer with a capability of being the hub of the community.

Amazing!!! We attended this weekend, Lois looked after our party for a football evening for our children. Lois hired in a bouncy castle, did a BBQ and reserved our seats. The lads played football for 8 hours straight on the huge grass area, football nets included. Thanks for having us, everyone commented on what a great spot you have out back, perfect for kids.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so nice and made a great service. I attended for Father’s Day and on a Sunday for drinks with friends. The garden is great for a drink on a summers evening. Overall a fantastic place to eat and drink.
