The Plough has been brought up to date with a beautiful refurbishment. It has a gorgeous wooden bar and two distinct dining areas, including a stunning garden restaurant at the rear. It combines old world style and charm with modern design and aesthetics. Roaring Fires in the winter complete the classic country pub feel. We have extensive front and back gardens, a Boules Pitch and a very popular summer boules league. There is a very large car park to the rear.
Visited for Sunday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The choices on the menu were great, catered for a variety of requirements and had their own stamp on them. The food was cooked to perfection and the option to add extras from the sides menu prevented waste but allowed for the larger appetite. The desserts were delicious. Looking forward to going back to try other things on the menu!! Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Food was delicious and staff really lovely. We had a great Sunday lunch. Good selection of roasts and other dishes. The burger was also great. Will definitely go back.
We were a large party who had pre-ordered and I was amazed at how all our courses came out all together, there was no waiting for others to get their food and it was all piping hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was bloody delicious and the the atmosphere was fab. I highly recommend a visit. X
Had an evening meal whilst visiting family in the village. Good menu choice, food was superb, lovely friendly staff. We will definitely visit again
A lovely little pub in a quiet and sedate village.. ample parking and dog friendly with an under cover and open air outside seating areas. Came here today... New owners Dan and Jaz were impeccable hostes the place was lovely and clean and as usual i went through to the heart of the building and high standards run throughout... I'm really impressed with this pub/eatery it seems a real hub for the locals and visitors alike.. Thank you for looking after me guys
