The Plough inn is situated on Aynho Road in the picturesque village of Adderbury in Oxfordshire. This traditional Inn has all the character you would expect, with thatched roof, beamed ceilings and open fireplaces to relax in front of on those cold winter months.
The Plough offers a relaxing environment, where you will enjoy a warm welcome, cosy surroundings, great real ales, fine wines, quality home cooked food and a friendly service.
Along with our standard menu the emphasis is on home-cooked, honest tasty food using locally sourced produce where possible. We also offer daily specials and cater for special diets with vegetarian, wheat and gluten free options always available. Every Sunday we do a traditional Sunday Roast with a choice of two meats and all the trimmings served from 12pm -4pm.
The Plough, prides itself on the quality of the Real Ale served from local brewers Wells and Young's, with Courage Directors and Wells Eagle IPA available, as well as having regularly changing guest ales. We also offer a wide selection of fine wines available by the glass and bottle.
Open from 11am during the week, the Plough offers a complete range of speciality teas, coffees and Milkshakes. As well as a selection of homemade cakes, making it a great place for business meetings or to catch up with friends.

Popped in mid afternoon, weekday for a hot drink, and had a pudding! Lovely food. Sat in bar by fire with the dogs. Very quiet.
Wow Service top notch, lead by Brett and Natalie and children. A really unique experience. The Mutton Bunny and Bilton Soup out of this world.
We popped into the Pickled Ploughman on Halloween as we were staying in Adderbury. The food, wine and service were excellent and we had a lovely experience. I had crab tart, steak and local hooky ale pie and finished with a mixed berries cheesecake. Delicious! Worth stopping for if you are in the area for sure 😊
I live in the village and come quite a few times from coming back from uni. The food is amazing and good quality, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming always. The pub is beautiful inside and out and I always know whenever I come I get delicious food and service. Will always return and recommend this to anyone who lives in Adderbury or is passing by. 10/10 !!!
First time here since new owners and the food was brilliant along with attentive and friendly service. Would definitely recommend it to others! Didn't take pics of mains however steaks were great. Here's some pics of the desserts which were also amazing!
