The Plough in Staining is a traditional public house, with delicious homemade food with locally sourced produce, continually changing cask ales served by friendly staff, in a fantastic village location.
The Plough is located in the heart of the beautiful village of Staining. It is two miles from the M55 motorway and three miles to nearby Blackpool town centre. It is in short walking distance to De Vere's bridle and walking path and has excellent public transport connections for all your needs. Also, it is extremely close to Marton Mere wildlife reserve, the famous Blackpool Zoo, Staining Lodge golf course, and the Four Seasons fishing reserve: all these are within short walking distance!
The Plough itself has a 35 cover separate restaurant area, serving hot and cold homemade food from noon until late; including daily specials on the blackboards. We cater for all types of functions and have a small playarea outside to keep the children entertained. We have Sky Sports featuring all major sporting events, a pool table, darts and even dominoes! If you fancy a bit of fresh air, we have several outside seating areas and a large free-of-charge car park.
Large range of beers, wines and soft drinks and our cask ales change weekly.

Just took a friend in for a quiet drink she had Guinness I had a brew nice clean place friendly service .
Lovely little bar. One of us choked on our drink and the bar maid was right there with a glass of water for him! So lovely and very attentive.
Lovely locals pub in the heart of Staining, nr Poulton, Lancashire. Lively, friendly and welcoming. On a bus route. Well worth visiting. Cask ale served.
Decent modern pub with some outdoor seating set by an attractive green beyond its spacious car park. The village has maintained its separate identity from the Fylde conurbation. One real ale available on my visit, Theakston's Best Bitter, in good condition. Didn't try the food but the menu looks good value
