About us

The Plough Inn is a relaxed and unpretentious freehold family run pub, bar and restaurant with its very own patio garden consisting of 28 team members across front of house and kitchen, managed by Becky, Adam and Debbie.

The Plough is centrally located in the heart of the picturesque villages of Sutton Valence, Langley and only 2 miles away from the magnificent Leeds Castle.

At the Plough Inn, we serve generous portions of freshly cooked food throughout the day, using great quality ingredients sourced locally where possible such as David Catt & Sons of Boughton Monchelsea in Kent, Crouch Butchers of Bearsted, Huntleys of Tenderden and Lazy Lobster of Detling Hill. We are now working closely with Hills Prospects drinks supplier, where we offer some amazing local wines, and soon to be supporting Luddesdown, Kent vineyard which is host to 400 acres which will be the largest in Europe, as well as providing our guests with Britain’s oldest local brewer Shepherd Neame larger and ales.

Excellent food and service. The children loved their burgers and ice cream, all the adults enjoyed their choices. Sharing sundae is a worthwhile solo-challenge 😉 Very nice to watch the food being prepared.

Lovely experience at The Plough Yesterday (26th October) Didn’t have a booking but was still seated, I opted for a burger and the grandparents chose Ham, Egg and Chips. Everything was presented well and tasted delicious. Waitress was lovely and made us feel welcomed. Definitely deserves 5 Stars.

Really good food and nice, friendly staff. Good value also and very clean food prep and kitchen area also. Window into kitchen is a really nice touch to the restaurant.. Would recommend. Attended with a group booking of 12.

Went to The Plough for Sunday lunch, have been there a couple of times in the past. The staff are very attentive. We ordered a roast chicken and a rodeo burger, oh my goodness the roast was really tasty, was breast and leg, with roast potato, broccoli, carrot parsnip, cabbage and cauliflower cheese. The other halves burger was huge he said it was delicious. The chips were perfectly cooked as well. We then had the apple and pear crumble with custard, just the one which we shared. With drinks our bill came to around £50. Would recommend this place but make sure you book as it was extremely busy
