Brilliant pub Always a friendly welcome and top class pint of Guinnes. Linlithgow is full of good pubs and this is the best in my opinion.
Great pub with a great atmosphere! Staff are always very attentive and the most welcoming. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
At the pub quiz last night and what a fabulous night out. The quizzer was very entertaining with lots of jokes and kept the event running smoothly. The bar staff were fantastic dealing with the rush during the rounds. Serving a wide selection of beers and drinks. Really good night out
What a treasure of a pub. Four of us Aussies travelling on a canal boat fell in love with this friendly wee pub The staff are so friendly and the locals kept us entertained for hours ( thanks Graeme and Davey) We highly recommend a pint or two and a chat in this character laden pub!

The Marys in question are the four ladies-in-waiting of Mary, Queen of Scots, who was born over the road in Linlithgow Palace. Back then, there was no pub here, but the building The Four Marys occupies was already standing as a family home.
