I Went last night and had 1 drink and went back up for another and I was refused service because the bar man said I had too much to drink when i had only 1 drink in this bar and 1 elsewhere as i was recommended this bar so i came over. I was really enjoying the music and seeing everybody having fun. This was strange so I left right away and I went to the street which is brilliant they couldnt believe i got refused .im Visiting from ireland and have been all around the world and have never ever been refused service at any bar or pub. Won't be back I'll give my money to other bars instead !!!
As others have stated in the reviews, there seems to be at least one bartender who is standoffish and makes you feel unwelcome. The drink was great but I spent the entire time wondering why I was treated so coldly. Otherwise the place seemed like a good time but couldn’t justify staying for another drink.
My favourite LGBTQ+ bar in Edinburgh. Staff are friendly and always a good atmosphere. Regular drag performance and music to cater to all tastes. You will have a great night here and it isn’t too overpriced either.
Thought the place was weird when I first came in because it was a mixed crowd and there was a smoke machine but then the drag performance started and it was amazing. Staff are so friendly, from security to bar staff, to the performers. Great crowd and I would recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh:)
The bar staff were lovely especially Julie. But the door/security staff were even more amazing! So lovely and welcoming, they went over and above to make sure we had a great weekend. We were over from Belfast and will definitely be back. We had a great night. Thank you
