The Pilot Boat is the only pub on Bembridge harbour with six bed and breakfast rooms and the tap room for our own brewery, Wight Knuckle. The bar serves a variety of craft beers brewed locally by our brewery. The brewery was set up in lockdown by two brothers, Fergus and Edward. The brewery has grown quickly and has moved from the pub to a barn nearby.
The bar is popular with sailors and holidaymakers and serves not just our delicious beers but a variety of wines, spirits and soft drinks. In partnership with Hot Box we also offer a selection of freshly baked artisan pizzas.
The Pilot Boat has six bed and breakfast rooms, five on the first floor and one on the ground floor. All rooms are en suite and dog friendly.
It is easy to spot the Pilot Boat on your way into Bembridge - it must be the only pub in the world to look like a boat!.

Enjoyed the real ale brewed locally. Food limited to pizzas. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Just back from a lovely visit to the pub. We went for the Hot Box Pizza tbf. Staff where great welcoming and friendly. Drinks reasonably priced and served well. Tonight they did a pizza buffet. All you can eat for £12. 4 different styled pizzas topped constantly up on a buffet bar. Great quality artisan woodfired pizza. Thanks all. Recommendation would be to book for a Wednesday Buffet ran 6pm to 8pm.
The building looked amazing, like staying on an actual boat. The room was big and everything was perfect. Comfy bed, nice decor and luxury towels. Easy check in and very professional and kind service
Was good allowed our 3 dogs. Only criticism we stayed 3 nights, I felt for price should have been cleaned at least once. Continental breakfast very limited choice.
Very friendly and helpful staff; the best beer tasted so far on the Isle of Wight. I especially enjoyed the Witbier and the Black IPA.
