Best pub in the Midlands by far *** owners are amazing
Not a bad pub atmosphere is great for a Sunday afternoon and staff was very pleasant defo will be returning in future
Brilliant place , good music and the staff were really friendly, lots of drinks to choose from at a decent price if your looking for a good night out in your local area I strongly suggest this place you won’t regret it
Went in with my boyfriend for a drink and to watch the Albion match (this was last season now) as we were told it was on in there as they show sports, walked in and a woman who i can only presume to be the landlady or manager or in charge of some description was waving the sky remote around whilst customers were waiting at the bar for their drinks, landlady was effing and blinding about the fact that there were 2 matches on that night and that different people wanted to watch different games (simple, just put one game on one screen and another on the other one) but no, she was swearing and screaming and shouting and insisted she "couldn't please everyone" and was going to "put the 80s on instead" which she did. Turned round to my boyfriend and told him that there was no way I was stopping in there and that I'd never seen anything like it in my life. While she was effing and jeffing, the poor lad behind the bar didn't know where to put himself, he looked absolutely traumatised, and working in a pub myself I can say with certainty that if that was my manager who was supposed to be leading by example, I would be too. Safe to say I'll never be returning, I've never seen such a rude obnoxious landlady in all my life. Totally ruins what looked to be a nice pub on the surface.
The bouncers on the door are not very good, my husband and I went to go in just before 10pm and was told no entry for 20 mins, walked to tavern and told they were closing so went to get taxi somewhere else, whilst waiting we watched the bouncers let 2 couples in from tavern and a big group of ladies, was only 5 mins after we were told no entry, my husband went and spoke with them and told him can go in now, I will never go in the place again, the bouncers will loose the pub customers
