Welcome to The Pig & Butcher, a warm, welcoming and friendly pub. Set in the village of Five Ash Down, it is the ideal stop off for walkers for an excellent pint of Harvey’s drawn from our superb ‘ cask mark ‘ cellar and a bite to eat.

We welcome well behaved dogs in our public bar and operate a dog on lead policy.

We serve a menu of good home cooked pub food, with a specials board along side. If you don’t a want a full main meal why not try one of our oven baked baguettes or a toasted sandwich. For those with smaller appetites there is a senior citizens and childrens menu served every day, including Sundays with our delicious carvery.

You will also find details of any upcoming events happening at The Pig & Butcher, such as live music from local bands based in and around Uckfield.

Enjoy a nice cold drink or a spot of lunch when the warmer weather is here in our rear beer garden or relax in our public bar with pool table and darts board.

For parties and meetings we have a large restaurant/function room for hire which seats 50 comfortably

We welcome families and offer high chairs and baby change, as well as disabled access and facilities.
