It's a pub In the middle of no where but has some beautiful walks in the surrounding areas and upon finding this place by chance one day it pulls you in with such a vibrant character and brilliant setting. Lovely food, incredibly good value for the rooms + meals and the service was absolutely brilliant and the assistant manageress was phenomenal. Her knowledge was very telling but her honesty and professionalism shone through and couldn't do enough for myself and my family during our stay. Throughly recommend 👌

Had booked a suprise get away for hubby at the Pheasant but we were both disappointed :( I have uploaded my email to the Pheasant - Hi, I wanted to let you know about our recent stay at the Pheasant. I booked through your web site for the winter deal and on the drop-down list I booked for a double room with a bath. On arrival the booking through the web site had been Issued as a standard B&B so a further charge was required. The room had a shower and no bath as I had booked however, the room was pleasant and the shower was good. The meals and drinks on our first evening were very nice and the staff very pleasant. Breakfast on Saturday was nice however both vegan sausages were so overcooked I could not cut through them, the waitress did bring me fresh ones. The evening meals on the Saturday were very poor and were left mainly uneaten. We were very disappointed. I also ordered coffee after my meal and this was only warm on arrival so was also left. The waitress did take 2 drinks off the tab but this did not aid the disappointment. We booked to stay at the Pheasant as we expected quality food, sadly we did not have a good experience and would not return. Karen and Dean Wood

Was greeted by very friendly staff which accommodated us at a very busy time with no fuss. We had 3 kids under 4 years old with us who were a bit rowdy but we were made to feel very welcome. Great food with all requests met, arrived quickly too, good bar selection and service first class. 10/10 would recommend

Visited just for lunch. My fajitas wrap was wonderful, very tasty and large portion together with crisps and salad. So much so that the extra feta cheese salad I ordered had to be boxed and taken home. That salad too was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. All in all excellent service.

Lovely lovely pub with rooms. Rooms gorgeous - so well decorated and really cosy. Our room has amazing sweeping views of the Cheshire plains. Pub is so quaint. Low beams and fires. Love it. Food was fantastic. Great menu, a bit different to the usual pub fayre. We have dunes in quite a few Michelin star restaurants but this one just a good as most of them - if not better. Friendly service. And great quality. Look it up and visit. I absolutely recommend .
