Such warm friendly staff with generous portions of tasty food. I can see why it's won best pub in town 5 years on the trot. Highly recommend!!!
Popped in on the off chance and caught them on a busy lunchtime. Fish finger sandwich and the brie, bacon and cranberry sandwich were both excellent as was the tea and coffee. The chap serving on his own was doing an amazing job full marks to him. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
A frequent stop for us with the dog. The coffee is great and reasonably priced! The team are really welcoming and friendly. They spoil our dog with treats and fuss. The beer selection is excellent and locally sourced.
Awesome dinner at the townhouse. Had the salt and pepper squid... And the dipping sauce was insane!!! Then had the chicken burger with fancy chips. Sooo good! Thank you guys for another awesome visit! There is a reason you are award winning! Nail it every time! Can't wait to come back
A lovely little bar situated at the bottom of the High Street, serving light bites/snacks inc' burgers, wings etc.with both hot & cold drinks. A small but substantial bar also includes 3 locally sourced cask ales & several keg craft varieties. On my several visits I have found the ale to be in excellent condition & temperature. Other than the excellent cakes, I didn't try the food so cannot comment, although if appearances count for anything it did look good. If you're a real ale/ craft ale drinker this place is definitely worth a visit. Recommended.
