Legion Scotland (the daily name of the Royal British Legion Scotland) was formed at the end of the First World War. Ex-servicemen returned to a land allegedly ‘fit for heroes to live in’. In reality they faced unemployment, starvation, and widespread misery in a country struggling to rehabilitate four million soldiers, many of whom were suffering from physical injury and trauma.
As a comedian of the time sang “you had to be a hero to live in it at all”.
In Edinburgh on the 18th of June 1921 what is now known as Legion Scotland was formed, with its English equivalent being established a few weeks later.
We continue to provide community and comradeship for ex-service people and their families today.

Went here for a bingo. Nice set up and reasonably priced drinks.
Nicely refurbished recently with tasteful modern decoration. Good, well-priced meeting space for clubs, groups and organisations.
Attended for Crieff's first Carers cafe (2nd thursday of every month). Excellent venue. Lots of space for events.
I attended a 50th birthday party on 29th Feb 2020. The British Legion in Crieff is a fantastic facility and since my last visit about 10 years ago has been modernised to a brilliant standard. The bar staff are fantastic and very friendly with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Really enjoy going here with my old man. Cheap beers and a cracking snooker table in the back He's a member and signs me in on arrival. Not for non members
