Would have gave it 4 stars until recently. I went in for my usual pint last week only to find a 70 pence increase on a pint. Not a happy bunny. Sorry but now drinking elsewhere.
Proper local pub, clearly Full regulars and the bar staff know everyone's name that comes in. Good pint as well.
Down to earth old fashioned type pub, Great beers, Great staff and great local customers who made you welcome. Especially their own Rod Stewart lookalike...
Walked in with my girlfriend to play darts and have one drink before ending the night. The customers looked like the cast from deliverance. I went to the area where the darts are played and was constantly hassled by multiple drunken men. They started singing sectarian songs and noticed that I didn’t sing along. I was then harassed and bombarded with sectarian slurs such as ‘fenian’. Would definitely give this pub a miss. Kind regards, Kris
My favourite pub ever since I was 15. Had 10 logs at one time on the fire last night thanks to uncle Johnny. Great staff , a real salt of the earth pub.
