Was gifted a night at Gleneagles as a Christmas present. The hotel was beautiful. The Christmas decorations were still up which made it more special. Our room was large with lots of little luxurious touches. There were robes and slippers for our use. They're was a coffee machine in the room with fresh milk in the fridge and complimentary bottles of water and shortbread. The service at the hotel was second to none. Staff could not do enough for you. We used the leisure facilities when we were there and liked the fact there was an adult only area. We especially liked the outdoor pool.
There's a reason this hotel is so iconic, you can't fault a single thing about the staff or the service that they provide. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, and goes out of their way to be helpful. The woodland Christmas decorations this year are absolutely stunning The gym is well equipped and has everything you need to get a good sweat on. If I could stay here every month I absolutely would.
Service - The staff is what sets this place above and beyond other leading hotels. The ratio between staff and in-house guests must have been nearly 2:1. Front desk staff are great. Amazing shooting facilities, a shout out to Dave the instructor great bloke. Falconry set up is well worth a visit. Spa was commandeered by kids but think the adults pool is under refurb.
Spend the most wonderful 24 hours here for my 'big' birthday recently. From check-in to departure, the whole experience was fabulous. The staff are outstanding. Our bags were taken on arrival and dropped in our room. We went for lunch, cocktails and dinner. The service was fantastic everywhere. The room was luxurious. Every whim was catered for. We were so sad to leave. We did the owl experience at The Mews. The keepers were so knowledgeable and interesting. The estate looks beautiful especially with all the festive decor. Just magical ✨️.
Facilities at the spa are exceptional. Had the most relaxing day. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. The lunch was healthy and delicious. My massage therapist was amazing. I had a lovely foot massage and an all over body massage both of which I highly recommend. Left the spa feeling so refreshed. Really delicious cakes available in the cafe which we bought to take home.
