We walked from our Airbnb to this restaurant/hotel for dinner and it did not disappoint! The service was so kind and welcoming. We did not have reservations but due to how early we arrived they fit us in. We were so thankful. The food was lovely and tasted even better! It has become a very fond memory of our experience in Scotland! This is a gem of a restaurant, between the yummy food, welcoming service and the stunning view… one can not go wrong here!
I had an absolute delicious meal in the restaurant when I was staying nearby. Fantastic selection of meals, all incredibly well cooked and presented beautifully. I would recommend the food and the service here to anyone who is in the area. Oh and the view was pretty nice too.
My friend and I had been to visit the Fortingall Yew, and found the Ailean Chraggan with it's inviting restaurant not too far away... We were immediately greeted by Jack, who came over to the car to let us know he was up for a game of "Throw me a stick" which we obligingly participated in! The food was wonderful! I mean it was delicious! We ate far too much, and actually took some with us for our evening meal! The setting was lovely and the lady who looked after us was warm and welcoming and very helpful! I don't believe I could recommend this restaurant too highly, and if I had the opportunity to visit this area again, I would definitely be interested in staying at the B&B as well!
A really nice hotel, has lots of antique decorations. The owner is very friendly, and he has a dog called Jack who is adorable! The waitress Shannon in particular was very friendly and has a great sense of humour. Even though it was quite busy when we arrived, she was still very accommodating and helpful towards grandpa who has mobility issues. The rooms are very nicely decorated. An ensuite and a separate room with TV/chairs!
