A little gem at the foot of Bannau Brecheiniog. We had a Saturday lunch, including the pork fillet special, gammon steak and veggie curry. All dishes were well seasoned and considerately presented. All were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Real log fire to warm your toes. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back. Henrhyd waterfall is very close and worth visiting either before or afterwards.
We live in Portsmouth and were visiting family in both mid and south Wales when we stopped here on the way to Swansea. A previous visit several years ago left us with a lasting memory of the Chicken Curry and friendly staff. This visit did not disappoint. We received excellent friendly and accommodating service on arrival (3 adults and a dog). Between us we had the Gammon, Cajun Chicken and Chicken Curry. All were delicious and the curry was as tasty as we had remembered. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.
What a beautiful place, beautiful location... lovely relaxed atmosphere... Dog friendly... Food was delicious... Great selection... and the service was warm and friendly... Will be returning for sure... Oh yes... There was a mini zoo 😍 thank you for a lovely lunch guys... Would highly recommend.
Amazing burger, one of the best I have ever had, great location and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommended.
Fabulous pub, the staff are excellent and efficient. Food was good but a but 'pub norm'. The specials were fish dishes and pizza. Well worth the drive and a family style menagerie with cranes, meerkat, goat and surprisingly wallabies. Loved it.
