The food here is absolutely outstanding! I had the sea bass and it was cooked to perfection! It was beautifully crispy and the flavours were amazing! I had the sticky toffee pudding which happened to be gluten free and, again, it was beautiful. The Pembroke Arms is beautiful inside with plenty of character and a cosy atmosphere. We did have a bit of a wait for the main meal but the quality of the food more than made up for it. I noticed the servers bringing other meals out and they looked amazing, especially the fish and chips. I would definitely recommend eating here.

What a lovely place to stop for lunch. We had a fixed price 2 or 3 course menu. Everything was cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed the ambience and quality of food....top marks from me.

This was so close to being 5 stars. We came for the Monday night quiz and really enjoyed it. The chances to win prizes is like no other quiz I have been to. The food and the drinks are also really good ! The one point I had a big issue with was the price of the festive mulled wine for what you actually get !! £6.75 for what was about 3 shot glasses worth of mulled wine is ridiculously overpriced !! I really felt the staff on the night made a mistake with how much you’re supposed to get in the glass.

Stayed here last night. What a lovely place, and the staff could not have been better. We were welcomed at check in by an extremely helpful and efficient girl who presented us with a couple of complementary brownies the chef had just made. The place has a very welcoming feel to it, wooden floors, lots of rugs and comfy sofas and chairs. Our room was exactly what we needed, clean, quiet, great shower. Breakfast was very good too, with nice touches like turmeric and ginger shots and a complementary Bloody Mary! (Although as I was driving I sadly had to pass in this.🫤). Altogether a great place with great staff who look like they enjoy what they do and know what they are doing. Thank you, keep doing what you are doing, we will definitely be back!

My sister and I visited for an evening meal, so apologies, I know nothing of the Hotel facilities. There is a generous car park and an adjoining covered outdoor seating area. The outdoor dining has bench seats and pretty lighting. Next to this is the pizza oven and an indoor bar, that looked cozy and inviting. We went into the main building, through the front bar, where food also served, tothe more formal dining room. The service was friendly and the menu was small, but prefecture perfectly formed, offering pie and mash, fish and chips, liver and bacon etc.. My beef pie was served with vibrant greens and buttery mash, thoroughly delicious and very satisfying. My sister's liver was cooked beautifully and it's now one of her favourites. Photos are a bit dark, due to the candlelit table.
