Lovely canal side location with so much potential, BUT it failed to be anything more than average. The building is run down inside and out (external scaffolding at the time of this review) the wall we were sat next to was filthy, with ripped paper kids scribbles and grubby. We arrived at 11:45am just before the carvery started and the tables were all dirty from the previous day (presumably) the floors were really sticky, the food was average, not very hot... Veg and yorkshires were not fresh or homemade, both frozen (we believe) and we paid extra for pigs in blankets, but they were terrible, bland and strangely hard sausage with soggy fatty bacon wrapped around them. Definitely wouldn't go back.
We brought a group of 6 adults with support needs with 3 support assistants to eat at Stonehouse Peartree Bridge. All the staff particularly Ashleigh were very helpful and friendly. A great lunchtime meal. Food was very good value for money and the whole group enjoyed their visit. We will be back again.
Great lunchtime experience. Food was fresh and tasty. Been plenty of times and we all agree Peartree is the best carvery in MK. Lovely staff, Shane who was behind the bar was particularly helpful and friendly.
Very warm welcome on arrival. Service was excellent for ordering food. We went for a Sunday carvery the meat was cook to a high standard very tender. So nice to see a good selection of vegetables. Chef was very chatty & friendly Would definitely recommend you go. Definitely be going back again.
Had a delightful experience at this restaurant near the canal. The atmosphere was inviting, creating a warm and pleasant dining setting. The proximity to the canal added an extra touch of charm. The overall vibe made for a memorable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommend for those seeking a relaxed dining experience.
