Deceptively large comfortable open plan town centre pub. A number of TVs around the walls for sport. Up to three changing guest beers, which frequently come from local breweries, with Prospect, Bank Top, Reedley Hallowes and Moorhouses often featuring. However beers from larger breweries such as Robinson's and Marston's also appear. The beers tend to be below 4.5% ABV and pale or golden and are excellent value - at £2.10 a pint one of the cheapest pubs in the branch area. There is a quiz on Tuesday and occasional live music on a Saturday night.

I haven't had food here so can't rate. Great pub, great atmosphere, enjoy the karaoke at a weekend.
Great atmosphere, really friendly staff and fast service. Decent prices and offers and a big beer garden. Sports, Karaoke and other entertainment throughout the week.
Can get very busy at times, good atmosphere have a laugh. Some good bar and door staff 😜
Went in last Saturday night the place was packed but got served quickly karaoke was on reasonably priced beer and a great atmosphere can't comment on the food as I've never tried it
It's ok. Very much of a locals pub. It's open day and night, and the vibe changes as the night kicks in. Karaoke was on. Music choice from the DJ was a bit eclectic. The pub does look a little tired and in view of other pubs in the local area having refurbs, it could do with a spruce up. Not to be discredited though, i had a good time in here.
