I honestly don’t know where to start, but here goes. I went here with my boys for breakfast on Saturday morning. I currently have serious physical and mental health conditions which affect eating out. I was greeted by Amanda who instantly made me feel at ease with any concerns I may have had. We went for the all you can eat continental and cooked breakfast. From the instance I sat down Amanda showed an unbelievable level of compassion and professionalism and explained our options well. There was an excellent choice on the continental offerings and hot drinks from a decent machine. I have always preferred to have a self service buffet and was concerned about having to chose for the chef to cook. Amanda again made it very clear we could have as much or little as we wanted, but also continue to order if needed. The food soon reassured me. Every item seemed freshly cooked and the eggs were spot on. I found the whole experience refreshing, welcoming and a comfortable environment in my current condition. So much so that I returned on Monday with my wife/carer. Something I can never do so quickly after a visit. I was again bowled over by the level of service and food, this time from Jan and Lucy. This level of service can not be faked and comes from a good heart. I can only comment on my visits which was during a quiet morning service. However it does take a lot for me to settle at ease. I want to thank Amanda, Jan and Lucy for a visits I’ll never forget and I will definitely be visiting again, even if it’s just an hello and a coffee. Maybe I’ll take the risk on my own. Believe me, that would be my greatest compliment, compliment x
Food was absolutely rubbish ordered smothered chicken but it definitely wasn't i asked to change the chips for jacket potato but they didnt have any and this was only miid day the garlic bread was only cooked on 1 side the place is falling apart and really dirty went to the toilet and my feet was sticking to the floor the carpet had all holes in it definitely won't be going there again
6 of us had lunch in December 2023, the food was average to be honest, chips tasted reheated, the reality didn’t match the menu photos and the curry came out in a cereal bowl it just looked like curry soup, but it all tasted okay. The background music was so loud we were struggling to hear ourselves talk. The service was really slow and they weren’t that busy as it was quite early, but the staff were lovely and friendly so that won the day to be fair. We loved the staff but the food wasn’t great and the atmosphere was lacking so we won’t be returning.
Very warm and friendly service. Love the attention to detail. Dinner was satisfying with good portions. Had a beautiful breakfast thanks to Mani and Jan
Went for a friend's birthday. This had to be one of the worst meals out ever. How this place is still open. Salad was wilted, friend asked for a slice of bloomer with hers and got cheap sliced bread. The carrot wasn't the thin slices, but dried out batons. For dessert one friend had jam roly poly. It was like a brick, the custard was more a thick skin and inedible. I would never recommend to anyone.
