General cleaning duties around the outside, along with some light odd-jobs (if/when required) inside and outside the centre to ensure that the centre is kept in a good condition in order to provide a professional and customer friendly environment.
This role would suit a retired or semi-retired person. Mostly light duties.
Tasks will include but are not limited to: carrying out general upkeep of the centre:
• Basic Plumbing Tasks (keeping toilets, urinals, drainage clear etc.)
• Basic Electrical Tasks (changing light bulbs, fuses etc.)
• Light Carpentry and Installation (hanging picture frames, fixtures & fittings, installing bookshelves etc.)
• Routine Gardening (weeding, watering, leaf blowing, checking garden and children’s play area items are safe to use etc.)
• Basic Repairing (painting, filling/repairing gouges or cracks etc.)
• Basic Outside Cleaning (sweeping, power-washing, washing, wiping)
Some general maintenance experience would be an advantage, but not necessary.
This position is Part-time:
• 10 hours per week
o Monday 8am to 12noon (4 hours)
o Wednesday 9am to 11am (2 hours)
o Friday 8am to 12 noon (4 hours)
Note: Additional hours may be required some weeks to complete ad-hoc tasks.
Hourly Rate: £8.21
