This is the former G&Ts Stock Clearance Shop. However, the building is better known to Winton’s older residents as the long-standing Co-op, the original of which (on this site) was a branch of the Parkstone and Heatherlands Society. Following a public meeting attended by 100 people, in May 1903, the society’s new store opened for business the following September. Molesworth House, as the store was then called, was replaced by a high, domed building, which became a familiar landmark. The dome was later removed and the building refaced.
Absolutely disgusting customer service from a certain member of staff, quite short, short black hair foreign. Me and my family went out for lunch today after having a bad morning and just because we had a baby with us he showed us no respect, said he couldn't care less and basically was refusing to do his job, used to like this place but never coming here again as long as he is still working there, very disappointing!
The chips were not cooked they was oven chips done badly my sister could have cooked them better and she’s 15 I know it’s weatherspoons but you expect something nice when you pay. Kitchen staff look like something out of a ripoff hotel documentary. Won’t eat here again.
This branch of 'spoons is one of the friendliest going. The staff are great and there's a great mix of clientele which makes it a favourite for people watching over coffee.
This is a great place highly recommended for families friends and loved ones. Children are welcome too. Prices are reasonable and the breakfast is amazing. One has choices for vegan, American and even MD similar breakfast. There is parking around the area or public ar park is nearby. There is also parking for disabled persons and ample space to get in and out . Service is great and the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended for everyone. Very load pub, it can get busy at times, the food takes to long to arrive to table from ordering, When the food arrived the chicken in the burger was dry and cold with wet cold bacon on top with a cold bun, the chips looked like they were cooked in dirty oil because all I could taste was grease. The chefs looked uncept, and did not wear the appropriate uniform, a chef should take pride of how the look and cook their food. But it's more fast food then anything else, and not much is cooked from fresh. However it's good for the price and perhaps they were having an off day, the staff were friendly and all in all I will re visit to review my post. Thanks guys.
