Great to hire out for functions, been here for several occasions and have hired it myself for my birthday party in December. Also does firework displays and other events. A lovely local venue!
Attended a christening here the room looked lovely but all the white drapes need to me taken down for a wash some was yellow some white all different it needs a big wash. All I heard was the manager moaning about things and being very unhelpful the food was OK nothing special. The toilets they are dirty full of damp locks on toliet was no good. Honestly I feel so sorry for the staff that day they was doing everything in there power to help that day but the big bad manager was horrible to them the way she spoke to the staff the staff at one point couldn't even find her she's just disappeared. Not run very good the manage needs some people skills and needs to clean and wash up.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to Michelle for a fantastic day from start to finish it went without a hitch. To anyone considering a venue this is it. Buffet whether hot or cold was amazing considering all health and safety requirements as well as allergens. Steve and I would like to thank you and your staff for everything. My family, friends who travelled from far and wide said what a venue. No thousands needed for this. Hopefully a good profit on that day with the bar…
Recently attended a wedding reception, people were given plates of food with items missing, no mashed potatoes, no roast potatoes, no gravy, no stuffing balls. Vegan option extremely poor, 2 cheap sausages, 4 very small roast potatoes, peas, carrots and less gravy than I could spit, there was less food on the plates than the children got and don’t forget about the evening buffet, the only thing that was available to someone that doesn’t eat meat or dairy was over cooked onion bhajis and vegetable pakoras..
Attended a function here recently. I liked it. The function room was a decent size and well laid out. Bar well stocked with decent menu too for snacking (nuggets and chips etc). Hardworking pleasant staff. Nice outdoor area. All in all not bad at all
