Went for evening dinner can't comment on the rooms sorry. But the service in the restaurant was great best fish and chips in Redcar by a seaside mile. The restaurant was tidy and clean, well decorated, but don't look up in the lounge bar area. But I'm sure the new owners will sort this out they can't possibly leave the room in that state. Seating about to collapse ceiling are about to fall in. Don't let this put you off the carvery it top notch the food is great. Drinks a stinger, though cost wise. This is just an honest opinion. I go here regularly for food, it's that good.
Lovely place to go to eat or have a drink. Staff are great and the prices are very reasonable. Great views of the sea. Will definitely be making this a regular place to go ☺️
In this day and age how are hotels like this still open? Stained carpets in the bedroom,broken tiles on the bathroom floor,bath looks like it had the sealant done by stevie wonder,windows you can't open because they've been sealed shut! Room boiling hot,badly repaired walls and ceiling, all outdated fixings. Went done for food and was told there would a wait of 1 hour because they were busy, OK can I order food and come back in 1 hour? They then asked where I would be siting? How would I know its a bar people sit anywhere I might point out a table and then when I come back it might be gone. Unable to take my order as I didn't have a table number!!!! Spent approx 8 hours in this dump and it was 8 hours to much. None of the pictures on the website look nothing like what I seen. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP.
How in this day and age are hotels like this still in business? Room outdated,stained carpets,broken tiles on floor in bathroom,sink would not drain.cant open any of the windows apart from 1 small top one, absolutely boiling hot,bath looks like it was sealed in my stevie wonder. How can I tell you that as somebody might be sat there by then as it's a bar. WHAT A SHOCKING PLACE STAY HERE AT YOUR PERIL..
We recently had a two night stay at the Park Hotel, our room was clean and comfortable with excellent views of the North sea. I am a coeliac and I had the most delicious mushroom stroganoff for dinner and breakfast was cooked for me totally Gluten Free, I can very rarely get this in 5 star hotels so 10/10 for being able to cater for me. I would like to mention Sarah who was on reception (and also at breakfast) she was excellent very professional Sarah is an asset to this hotel. Julie who took care of our room was also very pleasant and helpful. The staff overall are helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
