Panda & Sons opened in November 2013 by Panda and his family. The foundation the bar was built on was to create a place where all ages and all people would feel welcome whether it would be for one of our deliciously creative cocktails, wide range of craft beers or our extensive wine list.
We are a hidden bar fusing the classic Prohibition style Speakeasy and a nod to the Vintage style Barbershop. All we can say is that if you find a Barbershop with some foreign currency you have made it to the Libation Destination!.
I stumbled upon this gem of a hidden bar, cleverly tucked away behind a barber shop facade, and it was quite the find! Walking in, you're greeted by a really cool atmosphere that perfectly blends the charm of a speakeasy with modern vibes. The place has a nice buzz to it, creating a lively yet relaxed setting. When it comes to drinks, they have a pretty decent selection to choose from. While the drinks were alright, nothing too out of the ordinary, the variety makes up for it, ensuring there's something for everyone. It does get slightly noisy, but that's part of the charm if you're in the mood for a place with some good energy. If you're on the lookout for a chill spot with a unique twist and don't mind a bit of background noise, this bar is definitely worth checking out. It's great for soaking in some vibes and enjoying a night out with friends.
High end cocktail speak easy. A really nice vibe and fantastic drinks just be wary of the price of things. If you are wanting to stay for more than 1 or two then it is going to rack up real quick. Worth it though.
Panda & Sons has quickly became one of my favorite bars too date. Their dedication to excellent cocktails and fantastic service make this bar special, and proves it deserves to be Top 50 bars in the World. My 2 favorites were the Where You Bean, and the Birdcage (unfortunately no Photo but 100% worth it).
Good news, this place has some of the BEST cocktails you will ever have. Bad news, there's no actual barber, so if you're in desperate need of a haircut - this is not the place. Hidden behind a vintage barber shop, this speakeasy uses a unique technique to make their cocktails. It's thoroughly explained in their menu, where they use a freezing technique to influence the taste of the cocktails and you can truly TASTE the difference. I ordered the Birdcage (Johnnie Walker Gold Label, Aperol, Lemongrass & Rhubarb, Angostura bitters, and Cinnamon/Clove Smoke). This was so incredibly delicious, it was the perfect whiskey drink for me. My friend ordered the Culture Club (Flor De Cana 12yo rum, discarded banana peel rum, biscoff, soy yogurt, maple, lime, & bitters) THIS was probably our favorite drink. It was so smooth, so creamy, and each flavor profile highly complimented the other. I'm not a rum girl but I can drink the Culture Club cocktail for days. This place made it onto "The World's 50 Best Bars" for 2023. The cocktails are great, customer service was friendly/attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and dimly lit like a classic speakeasy. I would love to bring more people to this bar!
A classy speakeasy cocktail. We had a couple of cocktails and they were all balanced and tasty. However, I have been to way better places both in terms of the cocktails and the ambience. It was very easy to find this bar; so it’s not exactly a secret bar. Plus, they can provide more experimental and innovative cocktails. Still, had nice time. I strongly recommend you to make a reservation in advance if you want to find a place here.
