The food and service is always top notch. Lovely atmosphere and decent prices.
Stayed for 3 nights and really struggled with having no heating. Had a portable radiator but it was hard having to manually turn it off and on when I wanted the warmth, please fix the heating system soon.
No kettle in the room for coffee or tea. The bed was two single beds put together. The bed was solid it was like sleeping on the floor. Tho I did not sleep to well and left early hours. Rust around the bath. Paint peeling off the ceiling. No fan in the room.
There for retirement meal recently and food was lovely. Few of us had different choices of food and all enjoyed it. Service was really good, polite and precise girls and everything went to plan, a great evening.
Overall very good. The staff are lovely, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms themselves are nice with good decoration in the executive suites. However, the bathroom could have done with a complete revamp. It looked old and shabby. Also the black mould marks around the bath sealant made it feel very shabby. The layout is a little strange to get to the rooms and I feel that better signage may help, it took us a wee while to figure out where our rooms were. Breakfast was very good, large portions and tasty. The location is excellent and most things are 5/10 mins walk from the hotel.
