Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the Snowdonia National Park, the Padarn Hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, 100m from Padarn Lake and a 5 minute walk from the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
Following an extensive refurbishment the Padarn Hotel is now open and the new team are looking forward to welcoming you to our exciting new establishment.
Our Sports bar has 4 screens showing both Sky and BT sport, we also have a pool table and darts board. The room has a quirky interior with lighting and furniture made using old sports equipment and there is even a Canoe hanging from the ceiling!
Enjoy a meal or snack in our 100 cover Bistro spread over three themed rooms; Garden room, with views of the mountains, Film room, with posters of blockbuster movies that have been filmed in the Llanberis area and Boathouse room with its cosy booths and views of Snowdon. We serve a range of quality, freshly cooked dishes at affordable prices, including some vegetarian and gluten free. All individually prepared by our experienced team of chefs in our grade 5 rated kitchen.
We have a versatile function room, which can be used for a range private functions and events, such as registrations, prize givings or activities. Just let us know your requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.
We will have 17 bedrooms with mountain views and a range of twins, doubles and family rooms, some are still undergoing renovation work.
There is free wifi available throughout the hotel.

Good location, the room is spacious and clean, private parking, the staff is friendly and helpful. The unpleasant thing was that the restaurant was not working and after a long day I just wanted to take a bath and have dinner in the restaurant. The reception was very kind and directed me to a nice restaurant, and the food was good, but it is better to say that the restaurant will not work when you make a reservation.
Everyone here was lovely! They greeted us with open arms as we strolled in at 10pm with our luggage from down the street and were able to serve up a delicious warm meal, serve us drinks and get us a room for the night! They even offered to wash our clothes if needed and stored our luggage the next day while we went up the mountain! Oshawn and Anna were really sweet. Myra the manager was friendly and very accommodating! Tyler was also really great and Ben as well!! Thank you!!
We came here for food rather than using it as a hotel. The food was the only saving grace but our expectations were quickly very low after our experience with the staff. Although, saying that, the food isn't worth dealing with the experience here. Coffee was awful too actually. Looked like there was a white lump in there from lack of cleaning the nozzle and tasted bad. Bit of an odd one waiting to be served and a odd atmosphere. Didn't feel too welcome. Once the one girl came out to give us our plates of food, she informed us to get the sauces and cutlery we needed to walk back through the car park and then through to the front door. We were a bit confused as to why she couldn't give us the cutlery ourselves; they weren't busy at all and were mostly chatting together while polishing some cutlery. We then went to the location where we were directed to discover there was just sauce. The cutlery was in fact with her where she was polishing it! An absolute joke. The fork that I ended up having first still had food on it so they're not even doing that job very well. She also needs to get trained to dress a glass correctly for a cocktail and we saw her doing it horribly wrong. It's a shame because it is in a beautiful location.
We were at Padarn Park and rang up to ask if they could fit us in as a table of 10 in 15 minutes - it was absolutely no problem and by the time we got there they'd set the table up. All the staff were very welcoming and accommodating tour needs. One member of staff saw I was struggling with one of our 4 children and quietly let my wife know that there was a small children's area inside - really helpful! The food was delicious and came on good time. A real gem in Llanberis. Thank you very much!
They catered for the various allergies in our group really well! The menu was really well labelled. It was amazing to have more than one choice for vegan and gluten free desserts! The staff were all super friendly and helpful ☺️
