Phoned at last minute to book, fitted us in! although busy got a lovely window table. Steak/mixed grill/gammon meal, all piping hot and served on skillets.All the meat first class and cooked to perfection!as were the diced braised onion/tomato ,onion rings(served with the usual chips).The staff were amazing pleasant and polite! Would definitely recommend!
All frozen veg, frozen chicken. Frozen Yorkshires… even frozen roasties. Smash instant potato, and bisto gravy granules. There is a reason this place is dead on a Sunday afternoon. Basically a dinner out the freezer from Iceland. Only reason i gave 2 stars was the beef 🥩 was actually really nice. Only roast actually fresh it seems. And its not fortunes. Servers were lovely and canny.

Staff friendly and although persistent respecting our slow decision making. Busy on this Wednesday eve with a birthday party on, were giving waiting time of about half an hour. With us taking our time to choose and having a small starter, it didn't feel we had to wait.
Very nice pub with cosy atmosphere. Cajun Dry Rub Chicken wings were super tasty - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
