Since 1634 a sixteen-pointed star has appeared in the arms of the Worshipful Company of Innholders, formerly a guild of innkeepers.
The Star Inn at Woodstock, in keeping with this tradition, stands out as the perfect pub. An inviting homely environment in which to enjoy a casual drink with friends or a refined yet uncomplicated dining experience has been imaginatively created. The dining area is rustic in design with its wooden panelled walls and beamed ceilings.
Our food is complimented by well kept cask conditioned ales from Bedfordshire Brewery, Charles Wells. A good range of wines and single malts available too. The Star also has a large beer garden.

A lovely pub, V friendly staff, open fire and Very good straight forward food. Been there a couple of times while visiting Blenhiem Palace.
Popped in for a pub crawl and never left. Saw people eating a Sunday Roast. So I couldn't resist. Literally the most tasty roast I have had in ages. Not the most attractive pub. But it was the best decision today. Absolutely cracking. Compliments to the chef. (I even ate the Brussles).
We stopped for lunch here during our visit to Blenheim Palace and the food was great, very tasty and I love that they had Gluten-free options👏🏼👌🏻
I didn't stay at the hotel but my friends and I had a wonderful meal. The fish and chips were delightful and the burger was really tasty. Two of us had the apple crumble and that was delicious! I'd definitely recommend the food and the service was friendly and efficient.
Didn't spend the night but amazing fish and chips. In fact the best I've had for a while and only £10. Highly recommended and comes with great service and friendly staff
