The Lamb Inn is truly a family pub in more ways than one and you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome.
Over the past fifty years there have only been three landlords. For the past 17 years Andy Chalmers and his family proudly managed the pub which he has now handed down to his sons Lee and Gary, who are closely helped by other family members.
Those visiting The Lamb for the first time will be surprised when they walk through the door. The exterior of the building with its ancient thatched exterior, its beams and warped walls, hides an enormous pub and gardens. The central part is open plan; the glass ceiling makes it light and airy, while smaller, more inti¬mate spaces lead off to secluded rooms, gently lit with candles at night for an intimate feeling.
The pub can cater for up to 150 diners, with seating for another 150 in the garden. Families are welcome and there is a play park to keep younger visitors amused.
The pub offers full wheelchair access throughout and has disabled facilities described as "the best in town"! Dogs are also welcome if kept on leads.

The food was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Service was good and efficient. The pub looks great, however the food was a bit disappointing. Starters were not made from fresh ingredients. Our burgers tasted like McDonald's. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no onions...nothing but beef and cheese on bread. Chips were served warm rather than hot just out of the frier. For that price I was expecting more quality rather than being served frozen food.
Great food, great price and service. We will definitely go back. They even do Banana split, woo woo
What a fabulous pub! We had a lovely lunch, steaks cooked to perfection, piping hot chips with first class customer service and the prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend
Very cosy and friendly staff. Plenty of wooden beams everywhere, well it is 17th Century! There is a very good menu together with a 'Today Specials'. We had the seafood platter and salmon fillet all with potatoes, it was bostinly tasty and hot. We were left alone, no one pestering us! Well worth a visit for Bostin pub food.
