A wonderful welcome and atmosphere. I only popped in for a mulled wine which was perfectly festive
Couldn't fault the food. We ordered from the Christmas menu, which was tasty, plentiful and good value for money. Compliments to the chef. The service was fine, but the only time we had a smile from the waitress was when she was given a tip.
I had the Vegetarian Wellington Sunday Roast & it was pretty good. Good roasties and veg, just wish there was more gravy🤷🏻♀️
Just stopped in for a quick drink and packet of crisps after a walk along the river. Seemed like a nice pub in lovely riverside location. Tables inside and out. Friendly service at the bar. Would definitely go again for some food next time.
Lovely pub by the river. The staff were amazing, especially Emily, she was super sweet, gave us some recommendations and made us feel at home. Free parking on site and amazing walk alongside the river to go before/after your visit to the pub. One of my go-to pubs in Oxford.
