We are a 400 year old coaching inn that has been rescued from closure and possible redevelopment by the local community. In November 2012 the doors closed once again on the Seven Stars, for the fourth time in 10 years and set the ball rolling onto how the pub looks today. A committee was formed, shares bought, locals engaged and thus the doors of the pub re-opened once again on March 30th 2013. Since re-opening we have also redeveloped an existing barn into a restaurant, giving our customers a comfortable space in which to dine, as well as direct access to the garden and increased the size of the kitchen and modernised its equipment to cope with demand. In early 2015 are new pub toilets were built to help continue to breathe new life into this beautiful village pub, set right next to the largest village green in Europe and with a large garden we have the perfect space for all to enjoy.
Lovely village pub, great food, drink and service! We've eaten at The Seven Stars on numerous occasions and would highly recommend it. Namit and his team are great hosts, going out of their way to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable visit. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing! The pub is wheelchair accessible and if you contact Namit and his team ahead of your visit, they'll do their best to ensure everything goes smoothly. It's worth noting that the pub is very popular, especially at weekends, so book early!
Regularly visit the Seven Stars for food and drinks. It's a lovely country pub with friendly staff. Namit provides the best service. The food is amazing - I recently had the best pie, and the roast dinners are amazing!
Food piping hot and delicious. Service polite & attentive without being intrusive. Nice atmosphere. (Good to have small ice cream available for desert - many places don’t) An excellent experience all round, to get the New Year off to a great start! 🥳
Had a great meal at the Seven Stars , staff were very welcoming friendly and polite. We had the daily special which was Brisket Pie with chips vegetables and gravy it was delicious ! Thoroughly recommend paying the seven stars a visit
We had visited for drinks in the past but decided to have food on this occasion - incredible. Not only are the team friendly, accommodating and dog-friendly, the kitchen team are clearly very talented. The food was delivered quickly and tasted incredible - we highly recommend the chocolate moose which is one of the best desserts we have had. We will definitely be coming more often for more!
