When Greene King put The Bull up for sale in November 2012 there was a genuine concern in the village about the future of our pub. So a meeting was called. The Great Milton Community Pub Limited was set up. And 145 days later, we – the community
The Bull is a Free House with two bars, a restaurant and a large child-friendly beer garden, as well as a few tables in the front garden. Food is served in the restaurant and the beer garden.
Dogs, on a lead, are welcome in both bars and in the beer garden and WiFi is available free of charge.
There is also a small car park.
Midsummer MurdersIn July 2013 the pub was used as a location for the Christmas episode of Midsomer Murders. It was temporarily renamed The Blacksmith’s Arms and, on the hottest day of the year, became a winter wonderland.

Been here Twice now in the Summer and Winter and what a wonderful place! So relaxing and the staff are wonderful, they make you feel welcomed throughout the visit! Lovely beer garden in Summer Lovely open fire for Winter l If only this pub was closer to home, I would be here all the time. Can't wait to come back again.
Fantastic vintage and classic car gathering at the Bull! A lot of very friendly people with superb cars, given the number of people the Bull coped exceptionally well serving everyone and the pop up pizza were kept busy all evening. Will definitely attend again and look forward to visiting the Bull on other days to now I’ve found it.
Popped in with wife to enjoy the live music following the annual fete. Very friendly, reasonable prices, lots of drinks and good choice. The pub has an interesting history and has managed to keep the aura of pub and not trendy gastropub. Food was burgers, sausages, chicken, halloumi and vegetarian sausage so mostly all catered for! Great atmosphere and wonderful fun!
A cozy charming village pub in Great Milton. The uniqueness of this pub has to be it's family friendly atmosphere. Great selection of wine and beer on tap. The food is worthy of an applause. Lovely selection of starters, mains and deserts. The quality and portion size is impressive along with reasonable pricing. Hat's off to the amazing chef and the ever friendly staff who's quite knowledgeable. Highly recommended to have a cozy & fun filled family time here.
Brilliant little country inn tucked away in the heart of Oxfordshire. We were luckily enough to stumble upon this inn when on a random drive around the area. The staff were very helpful when ordering our meal, they knew all about the menu and helped us pick our dishes along with a good glass of wine. The menu had a really good selection, (I have added some photos). I ordered the lamb which was really good, I will definitely be back to try some other dishes.
