Fabulous pub grub with fish and chips better than Cornwall where I live. Great atmosphere and hosts. Family run pub who's humour and banter runs over into the bar. Good fun place
Nice quiet Monday night pub, great service and good food grub that was value for money, nicely cooked and a nice selection. Good range of drinks available and dog friendly so would definitely recommend as a place to go for a quick pint and a bite.
This pub is under new management and is on the up. Many improvements have been made and our lovely local pub is returning to the warm, friendly and welcoming place it's been for many years. We are regular customers and appreciate the return to normal and look forward to seeing things getting even better, well worth paying a visit.
It was alright, but just needs a few tweaks to be great. The pie was crying out for a side of gravy, the meat platter was tasty but again needed a dip like a sweet & sour or curry dip. The staff seemed friendly, but the timings of the food needed a little work. The last person got their food about 10-15 mins after the first person.
We came for the live music (by the band The Ukey Dukes) and decided to come for a meal before hand. It was a great evening, fantastic music. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful, we were very impressed. The lamb shoulder was delicious but the seafood linguini was disappointing, hardly any sauce or seafood and very dry.

The Fox is a family friendly, traditional country pub which has bun run by myself and my wife Emma for nearly 20 years now. We are not a ‘Gastro Pub’ but pride ourselves in being what an English country pub should be.
