Friendliest and loveliest staff! Food was excellent with quick attentive service. Bustling restaurant with a great atmosphere. Beds are amazingly comfortable with fresh and firm mattresses. Well stocked toiletries and no head height issues in the room. To and from the room is like an obstacle course through the attic ... but then I am 6'4"
Great service, very friendly and welcoming staff. Parking can be tricky if only visiting the restaurant. Still a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Had a coffee and delicious Banoffee Pie one afternoon. I am a Carer in the area and was on my afternoon break. Really quaint pub with a lovely atmosphere. Would love to try a full meal some time.
My parents came to visit me and wanted to treat them to a nice meal out at lunchtime. The weather was on our side, as it was a sunny 25c day, so we sat outside. t is a lovely pub with an idilic country-style garden out the back. We all had the smoked salmon on sour dough, which was perfect for a hot day. Service was good and efficient. I would definitely like to go back again.
What a wonderful pub! We booked a table as a large group & they were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The pub is quaint, cosy & beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for children to play outside, with swings & a sea-saw. Simple but delicious kids menu. Adults meals were all very good. It’s a notch above standard pub fare, but still reasonably priced and large portions. Highly recommend & looking forward to going back.
