In here for a bit of a pub crawl round Banbury, played pool here and had a few beers decent for what we wanted. Had a few portions of chips which were good. Service quick and polite
Great pub with a good menu. The kebabs and hot dogs are a great addition. I will be bringing the family here very soon.
So I hate giving bad reviews but this needs addressing firstly service was great very friendly staff and very helpful and acomodating but the food was shocking came out cold as cold as my drink of Pepsi secondly I visit alot of food venues for roast dinners through the year and this was the worst especially as it was suppose to be a Christmas meal. it definitely was not! and the portion size was terrible I did also have a starter again was cold but was probally the only nice bit although not great. I for sure will not be visiting for food again definitely needs improvement picture has been added.
Only reason the food is a 1 star is because I have to give it something. Main course portion size was shocking, stone cold and no condiments. Missing half of roast no peas, no carrots, no Yorkshire puddings.
Excellent food, great service. We were part of a large group and were made to feel very welcomed by all the staff, including the kitchen staff. A warm welcome, fantastic food and superb setting. Who could have asked for more. Thank you
