Good pub. Dropped in there with the lads after football, good selection of beers as it was October fest. Played a round of pool, and darts. Also got go out some decent music on as they have a juke box! Would go again.
I spent 3 very relaxing nights at the The Red Lion. The host Prathiba was naturally gracious with an infectious smile. The room was clean and set at the back of the property; which meant I had peaceful night's rest without the noise of traffic. One could tell there was attention to detail which helps. The bus stop was next door and the connections to Oxford and other villages were great. Most of all, it was excellent value for money. I'm definitely going back! R. Fernandes
Not been here for food before and had heard about the new refurb/management so thought we would pop in and see whats changed from when we were last in (few yrs ago just for a drink then) anyways all seems nice, fresh coat of paint, new inside and outside furniture, play area, very friendly team. To eat we had homemade lasagna, chips with a side salad, was lovely but think the lasagna was missing the white sauce!? Over all its a nice family, friendly village pub.
Lovely friendly pub. We come for the relaxed atmosphere plus our dog loves the pub dogs! Really nice garden to relax in, swings for the kids. Food is reasonably priced and good range of drinks. They always have weekly events going on.
Thanks for having White Ridge to play. We really enjoyed playing and would love to come back. Mark.
