We are very proud to have brought this prestigious and beautiful building back to life again with a complete, stunning makeover.

You will have an extensive menu to choose from, all made from locally sourced produce where possible. From speciality steaks and a wide range of fresh fish, you can finish your evening

mouth-watering variety of desserts.

Fine wines, ales and spirits will fill the bar where you can begin your evening before dinner. A dress code of smart casual applies when dining in our restaurant.

The landscaped garden is the perfect backdrop for an afternoon tipple with outdoor heaters keeping you warm late into the evening. The Ox also benefits from a large car park at the rear of the property.

Refurbished and renamed in 2013, this up-market bar and brasserie welcomes those wishing to visit for drinks, food, or both. The bar area has high tables & chairs, low stools and leather sofas, with a large restaurant to the rear. Food is locally sourced where possible. The menu has a Mediterranean influence and incorporates grilled steaks & fish. Themed food nights feature throughout the week. At the rear is a raised terrace leading to a patio and grassed area with seating. To the side is a covered patio area with heaters intended for smokers. As of May 2016 the restaurant area has been converted to a separate Italian restaurant.
