Traditional family run pub on the old Watling Street. First mentioned in documents in 1689 as White Horse Farm. Meals prepared from locally sourced produce, including Sunday roasts. Split level bar with beams brass and a listed fireplace, display of sporting photo's. Poker played Tuesday evenings. There is a good sized garden with children's play equipment.
I'm sat here now after having an amazing meal. It's more than just pub food it's more than that. I would highly recommend this lovely little pub for an amazing meal. All credit to all the staff
Warm and welcoming with fantastic Sunday roasts. Between us we had beef (very tender) lamb (best ever and so lean) and goats cheese apricot nut roast (delicious). Will definitely be back
A great pub with a large beer garden and a selection of draught beers to choose from. Staff were friendly & accommodate but the food it wasn't the best. Brioche roll for the burger it was not toasted & it felt cold to the touch which it has ruined the rest of the meal. Will definitely go again for drinks.
Grabbed some food waiting for car MOT. Really enjoyed the food, was very pleasantly surprised. The garden & decor looking sad I wasn't sure what to expect so thought I'd play it safe with mini sausages & chips but now I know this is here I will definitely come back and try some of the other things on the menu.
Popped in here bank holiday Monday, hoping for a roast, but they only do them sundays. The place is a bit grubby and dated so almost left, but just looked over the menu for a replacement snack and decided to try a few bites. Had halloumi, camembert, garlic prawns and chilli beef - all were fantastic and well above expectation.
