Booked online, although we just turned up the previous week, and were lucky enough to get a table. Service has been very good on both occasions, although last Sunday was very busy. Food, from the carvery has been excellent on both occasions. Have visited 3 times in the last few months and will certainly be back soon.
We were a large party booked for our daughters 40th birthday celebration. We had plenty of room, the service and food was fab. Also the bonus was we were able to use the blue light discount my daughter in law has so extremely happy
The gentleman behind the bar was so welcoming, friendly and talkative.. nothing was to much trouble, I had been before refurbishment and coming yesterday it was clean, spacious and lovely concept. Deffo make this a regular eating out the food was superb I have to say.. I have some allergies but nothing was to much trouble. I even booked online easy to do and very impressed the tall dark bar manager I assuming was amazing a asset to you and the lovely waitresses nothing to much trouble. Food fresh, presented well and lovely .. Will be bk next week .
I am not from the area so stumbled upon this place in passing. Instantly I felt very welcome and at ease. Very friendly staff, great menu choices, nice relaxing atmosphere. I ordered gammon egg chips and a pineapple ring. The food arrived very nicely cooked, however I felt there should have been two eggs as the one was so tiny. Having just gone on their website to write this review there is a pic of the meal I had which shows two eggs and two pineapple rings but I had only one of each, a bit misleading. Despite this the place still deserves 5 stars, I would certainly visit again.
Sunday Roast was delicious! Had Turkey & pork and lots of veggies. Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. Very quick service and smiley bar staff! 👌😊
