These guys are great went here with a gentleman I support for lunch. They were so accommodating and had delivered on my request for an easy access table by a window. Staff were friendly and also gave us great advice for the M museum just up the harbour which we both enjoyed. The food was simple but done to high standard, as an ex chef I appreciate quality without too much fuss. Lovely views of Bristol life and pretty much perfect service and hospitality. The gentleman I support had the gingerbread Creme brulee which is something he'd never had before so he was obviously very relaxed and felt at home. He demolished said dessert and has asked to go back to the Ostrich next time he visits Bristol. 10 of 10.
A fantastic pub in a superb location. One of the best pub roast dinners I've had in years. V friendly staff, good portion of food and the Brownie dessert was lovely.
Nice Sunday lunch , with an enticing menu. Two orders of chicken supreme and one of roast beef. Food was good , let down a little by cold Yorkshires and beef but loved the gravy! Side of wild boar and fennel stuffing balls are a must. Coffee and biscoff doughnuts were awesome. Service not quite there , forgot some drinks orders and not overly attentive.
Fabulous experience. All the team was exceptional with their service. Especially Jon who knows his drunks behind the bar. He Knows every single one! Would highly recommend
Can here for a Sunday roast the chicken roast was very delicious. The beef roast was nice but I would rather take the chicken again. Nice vibes friendly stuff beautiful view of the river would definitely come back again.
