Great atmosphere and a really good guitar/vocalist. He sang something for everyone. Great pint or 2 of draught bass.Will certainly be back soon and would recommend it to anyone
Bar is open till 2am Fridays and Saturdays with d.j. Great if you're out partying. Over 21 you will be i.d checked on entrance large nice smoking area at rear of pub.
Cheesy DJ, played what I asked, cover band were pretty good. Not too expensive or busy. Friendly staff and regulars.
Good little bar in summer. Unfortunately it seems the door staff run the place ! On a cold wet night door staff insisted on having door wide open, the 30 or so people in the bar all having to wear big coats to stay warm. Asked if I could close door but was told no, couldn't give an explanation why.
The atmosphere is great, so many large sports matches to watch. I went for a comedy night which was anything but. Floor and tables were sticky and the cigarette smoke from outside was hugely unpopular, the smokers might as well have been inside...
