Nicely refurbished room with eclectic decor. Warmth was welcome on an icy night and the bed was very comfortable. Very attentive, friendly staff. Food was okay although pricey for the quantity.

Charming small hotel in some old houses which means each room is different, and it is a bit of a maze. Well & tastefully decorated. Comfortable. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately it doesn't have any parking and there isn't much public parking nearby either.
We stayed here for one night in September 2023. Immediately warmed to it in the first minute when Rees on reception offered to come out and help us unload. This friendly service continued into the bar where we picked up afternoon tea and cakes, then dinner and breakfast. Meals all good. Everyone mentions the pizza and it was indeed ace, but fish and chips also excellent, full breakfast sound and a particular hit was the coleslaw with a touch of parsley. Cute little set up, large and cosy rooms, but the stand-out success is definitely the friendly service of the young team we met. Well done guys.
Had a really lovely stay over the bank Holiday weekend. Friendly staff, with a clean, nicely decorated and comfortable, quiet room. The pizzas there are also really good, and they do really nice pint of Guinness in the pub. Right in the heart of town, it's a great location at a good price, definitely recommend.
