Great bar, speedy service great atmosphere
We had a flier through the door and decided to visit it that afternoon , there was only one other person in the bar , the young chap was very polite , i wanted a cocktail , but unfortunatly there was no stock to make a cocktail , it was on the drinks menu that cocktails were served , we ordered a bottle of beer and a double gin and tonic , the gin came in a large glass , and plenty of ice , no lemon , the cost £10 .80 . we sat in the window seat , the place looked clean , the music started when we sat down , we only had the one drink and left ,
Was so excited about this place but I was so disappointed don my first visit. The staff are friendly but I don’t think they’ve had enough training in regards to the drink menu. No information was given about what we should order or what they would recommend just advice to have this or that because it was “nice”. Layout of the bar itself is odd too. There is so much potential here, with a few tweaks this bar could be an amazing addition to Prestatyn.
What a fantastic range of Gins and mixers, would definitely recommend
Really not convinced by this place.. We expected a nice ambience with knowledgeable staff who could help us choose the best of a particular variety of gin we like but found neither of these things. The menu was just a list of names with no descriptions or prices which was no help. We asked for advice and were told that "they all taste pretty much the same"! The decor of the place was weird too - very open with modern colour scheme on the walls, an LED lit bar but with a gambling machine and a carpet that looked like it had been taken from a working mens club? The furniture was uncomfortable and the place had a really strange feel. We felt the drinks were super expensive too - nearly £20 for two drinks excluding mixers. We won't be returning, there are much nicer places on the High Street!
