Only go to Newark once a year to the classic bike show. Found this gen of a pub. All four of us had a ploughman's lunch which was all they could do for us which was excellent. Great beers. Good atmosphere and service. Will go back next year.

Nice friendly Pub. It’s a bigger than normal micro pub. They have a really good selection of craft beers and more. I only stopped over in Newark for the night and I’m glad I found this place. I look forward to visiting again.
It seems quite a small discreet pub, but inside is a great heart of real ales, superb food and genuine friendly people. Totally recommend to everyone x
In my opinion this is the best pub in Newark. It’s always warm and welcoming with a super friendly atmosphere. The range of beers is extensive and the Blue Monkey beers are all excellent. The Infinity IPA is the standout one. Prices are good too for such top quality beers.
