Had dinner here was lovely.we didn't stay just visiting.
No where on the website does it state that the hotel rooms are upstairs, which was not something my travel companion is able to easily handle. The front desk agent did carry her bags up for her but there is no lift, so it was still quite challenging. Also, the room was directly over the bar which did not close until midnight and was quite loud. The wifi is terrible. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed one due to these issues. Do not recommend unless these issues would not concern you.
A very friendly staff greeted us when we arrived late. The hotel is not very modern, but functional. We chose a room with ensuite, which was both clean and tidy. If we wanted anything the staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to a bus stop and train station.
If your looking for a new modern hotel then this isn’t the place for you. Lovely couple running the place, the room we stayed in are as clean as you can get for the age of the building. Breakfast and service was wonderful. Would definitely stay again.
Fab service is very attentive and friendly. And the meal we received for 10 people was quick and the food was amazing. Very fresh and good quality. Recommend for a meal out.
