Very nice place for dinner. Food was really good well. Staff are very friendly and professional. Great atmosphere too. It was nice and busy on a Friday evening. Definitely will go again.
Three lovely little pub, nice atmosphere and lovely garden. But unfortunately found the food to be poor quality (ie) The chicken was very dry and very tough where it had cooked in the microwave to warm it up, The vegetables must’ve been cooked three or four hours before, or from frozen, and just warmed up in the microwave. As the vegetables had no flavour to them whatsoever and very soggy. and the roast potatoes were still hard in the middle, and the Yorkshire pudding must’ve been a one from aunt Bessie’s. The only good thing on my plate of food was the lamb!!
Popped in for a quick drink but will definitely be back. Very pretty traditional little pub with a small but beautiful outdoor area. Only downside was that it was difficult to park but that's to be expected due to the location really
This very traditional pub is as old as the hills, however with a recent makeover it mixes old with new Very well. With rather low ceilings with leather straps for hanging onto if you had too many lol (not sure what there originally used for but many of the features have remained. An open fire and a menu consisting of all the pub classics makes for a real cosy step back into time.
Very nice little country-style pub just outside the town centre. Really nice Sunday roast for a tenner with generous portions. Friendly atmosphere, with the staff being welcoming and the locals a lot less chavvy than other places in the town. Has parking and outdoor seating too. Recommended for a Sunday afternoon pint and meal to send you to sleep on the sofa when you get home.
